NEXUS Youth

Sunday Mornings:

Middle and High school students are encouraged to attend the
9:30 worship service with their families. This allows them to attend
the coffee connection (breakfast snacks and coffee/juice) and
then head over to the Youth Building for some hangout  time
(with intense Ping-Pong, pool and foosball matches).

This hang time goes 'till about 11:15am. From that point we
launch into small groups. This is an awesome time
for the youth to connect with God personally in age
based groups.

Our small groups last about 30min, from there we
gather together in the main room and have some student
led worship and more admin time while everyone is hanging
out.

A synopsis of Sunday Mornings:

• Breakfast Snacks
• Ping Pong, Pool, Foosball and hangout time
• Praise and Worship time to connect with God personally
• Small Group Discussion
• Dismissal

10:45am-11:15am  Coffee Connection, hangout and admin time
11:15am-11:45am  Studying the Word of God
11:45am-12:00am   Prayer and Worship
12:00am                     Dismissal

The Wednesday Night Hype:

Wednesday night is a time for fellowship, fun and to dig even deeper
into the Word of God. We begin to gather at 6-6:30pm in anticipation
of a great time. This is an opportunity to get some ping-pong games
in or simply come to finish that little bit of homework. Then at 6:30pm
we begin our festivities. This is where we gather together to talk about
real world topics and the struggles of being a Christian in the World.
We cover topic such as: anger, gossip, hate, what makes a godly
man/women and many more from a biblical standpoint.
After the hot topic items we dismiss from the lesson and play
some games.

This can include hangout time where we have
insane ping-pong, pool or foosball tournaments or we head outside for
a variety of different sports ranging from competitive kickball, fast-paced
flag football, intense volleyball or the fan favorite soccer.

• Real World Challenges and Biblical Answers
• Community
• Dismissal

6:30m-6:40pm    Youth led Praise Time
6:40pm-7:10pm  Video segment with small group breakout
7:10pm-7:50pm  Games/ Activities
8:00pm                 Closing
