Gil Sterling’s passion is to help support those whom God calls to bring His word, whether it is through music, drama or preaching. Through training, scheduling volunteers and maintaining the lights, projectors and sound systems, he works at keeping the technical side of our services flowing to prevent distractions from worship.

Gil has run sound for several local music groups, ranging from southern gospel and jazz quartets, to rock bands and musicals like "Brigadoon," and "The Sound of Music." He also sang bass with the gospel quartet Cornerstone for 10 years. When not in the tech booth, he is on stage with the band playing guitar or bass. His motto: “I go where I’m needed, and I do what has to be done.”
