Our youth

One of my favorite sayings that I use quite regularly in reference to the church is, “Change is a tradition.” What I am referring to is the fact that no matter how comfortable we get (or steeped in tradition), change will always happen. This is the case in everything from our daily lives to our spiritual lives. The difference is whether you can trust God to help you as these changes occur.

As many of you know, the youth ministry at TTUMC has undergone many changes this past year. We have seen people join the ministry and leave the ministry. What we need to understand is that God routed each of these individuals to the youth for a season to help develop a certain aspect of that ministry. I am pleased to say that our youth ministry is still a strong, vibrant and spirit-filled ministry. We have a curriculum in place and followers of Christ ready to lead. If you are interested in somehow participating in some fashion with the youth, then please contact me, and we’ll discuss how you can impact the youth.

With God’s help, we will reach not only our church’s youth, but also the youth of this community.
