When You Can’t Find the Words to Say Part 5

This last installation will address speaking words of “life” into the lives of others. The bible addresses the tongues ability to both speak death and life. It is important to also remember Mathew 18:18 “…whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven; whatever is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven.” Both of these scriptures combined reveals how important our words are and what we can do to speak life (blessings) in other people’s lives. When we speak about/with people we have a golden opportunity to bless them and encourage them to recognize their full potential in Christ. The word “blessed, to bless or blessing” is mentioned over 302 times in the bible. In many instances it is God speaking to his people but there are also human to human blessing spoken as well. God honors the words spoken by his followers and this can be seen multiple times throughout scripture (what about apostles speaking words of healing). Remember that when you tell someone that they do have a purpose in Christ then they will find within themselves the victory that they deserve.
