Warren Willis United Methodist Camp, Leesburg
Registration is open! Warren Willis is a wonderful camp ground in Leesburg, Fl. where Methodist churches throughout the conference bring their children and youth for a fun filled, God filled week of summer fun. This summer we will go to camp during week 2, June 14 - 19. Camp is open to rising (2010-2011) 3 - 12 graders and costs $370 for the week. Space is limited and camps fill up fast so please register as soon as possible to avoid missing out on the fun. To register online please go to http://www.warrenwilliscamp.org/page.asp?PKValue=6. Please include the church name on your form, this will allow us to check in to see who is registered. Please do NOT bring registrations in to the church office. Relay for Life
This year the youth have decided to for a team for Relay for Life. All youth who are interested in participating must register online at https://secure3.convio.net/p>tacs/site/TRR/1210551376. All youth participating must have a Medical Release Form on file and a permission slip as well. If you do not register you will not be able to spend the night.
Middle School Sunday School
This Sunday the Middle School youth are going to discuss the power of actions over words.
High School Sunday School
This Sunday High School Sunday School with learn that Israel asked for a king, to be like the nations around them,
and the consequences of their choice. They will also explore the issue of idolatry and its relevance throughout history.
Wednesday Night Youth
Wednesday Night
This Wednesday the youth discussed self control. We will play games to illustrate the importance of self control and discuss the consequences of lacking self control. Our focus verse will be Proverbs 25:28, "Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self control."
High Commitment Class
This Sunday the HCC will continue to study Experiencing God. This week we will focus on God continuing to pursue a love relationship with us. This weeks memory verse is Matthew 22:37-38.
Youth Meeting
All youth will have a meeting this Sunday with Pastor and Damaris this Sunday at 12:15 in the youth building. Please plan to attend.
