Common Questions about Giving Online
What is e-Giving and what are its benefits?
Today people are willing to have money transferred from their bank accounts to pay bills, insurance premiums, mortgages, fitness memberships and more. Online giving provides the same convenience for those who want to faithfully and consistently make a financial tithe or gift to the church.
e-Giving is not a replacement for our regular worship service offerings. Rather, it is an additional, convenient method to submit either your regular offering or a one-time gift.
Is e-Giving secure?
Yes. TTUMC uses an established third-party vendor as a clearing house to transfer funds to our bank. Information submitted online is protected by physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including firewalls and data encryption.
How do I make a one time e-Gift?
Click on the "Give Securely Online" button above. You will be taken to a secure donation page.
To make a one-time gift, you do not have to set up a profile (although you may if you wish). Simply enter the amount you want to give on the first screen. (You may place your donation amount in a box labeled "General Giving" or "Trustee Maintenance.") Select "One Time" in the Donation Frequency box. Then click the Continue button.
On the next screen, enter your name, address, payment method, and other information into the required fields and then click the "Process" button.
After your donation is processed, you will see a printer-friendly confirmation page. You may also request an automatic email confirmation.
How do I make a recurring gift?
To make a recurring gift, when you visit the donation page, click the Create Profile button. On the next screen, enter and confirm your email address. Then click continue and enter your name, address, and preferred password on the next screen. Click the Create Profile button.
On the next screen, click the Add Transaction button. You will then be able to specify the amount you want to give and other information.
On future visits to the donation page, you may simply log in to make, change or view information without the need to re-enter your personal profile data.
Can I designate my giving?
You may designate that your donation go to "General Giving" and/or "Trustee Maintenance."
Are there fees associated with each method of e-Giving?
Each type of e-Giving incurs some kind of fee. These fees will be absorbed by TTUMC and not your account.
